Choosing a Healer

Choosing an individual to assist you through some type of complementary treatment can be confusing. To assist you in making a more informed choice, I have listed some questions you can ask your practitioner.
1)    Do you use any/all of the services that you offer?

2)    Visually look/acknowledge their health. Some individuals are obviously unhealthy individuals. It is not about making a judgment, but rather making the best choice. Did you know that healthier individuals are clearer to allow any energy to flow through them to you? If you are paying an unhealthy healer for their services, you are paying them to heal themselves as well as you.

3)    How long have you been studying/practicing the services that you offer? Unfortunately, there is no set length of time that an individual must study to obtain a certification in some schools. Ask them about the requirements that they were required to meet.

4)    What are your credentials? There are “tricky” ways that some individuals use a play on words to portray themselves as having credentials to offer a service that they are not really qualified to offer. Ask them what their qualifications mean if you don’t have an understanding.

5)    Check out organizations that hold their members accountable for a listing of practitioners.
6)   Are you required to/do you take continuing education to stay current and enhance your skills?
